In 2007, the fest brings you a film program curated by The Chicago Short Film Brigade. The Chicago Short Film Brigade wants you to turn off your computer, put down your iPod, abandon your TV, and leave your house to enjoy an uncommon selection of short films from all around the world – in a comfortable space with other people.

The Film Brigade is an all-volunteer non-profit group dedicated to encouraging active production and appreciation of local and international short film. They believe the public should be able to see first-rate films in a cozy, non-academic environment where accessibility and community come first.
